Our Mission

For over 5 years, we’ve been proudly guiding travelers from around the world through the magic of the Lapland. Our professional and passionate team is fully dedicated to making sure every guest feels welcome, safe, and inspired — whether you're chasing the Northern Lights, meeting reindeer and huskies, joining a snowmobile safari, or learning the calm art of ice fishing.

We believe in meaningful, sustainable travel that connects people to nature. Our goal is not just to show you Lapland — but to immerse you in it. Every tour we offer is thoughtfully designed to respect the land, the culture, and the wildlife, while providing you with authentic, unforgettable moments.

At KEO Wilderness, we care deeply about both our guests and our environment. That’s why we choose local partners, prioritize animal well-being, and tailor each experience to create memories that last a lifetime.

Magic of the North

Lapland is one of the most mysterious regions on the planet. Here, amazing animals live, the sun doesn’t set in summer and doesn’t rise in winter, and the sky lights up with the Northern Lights.

Nature of Lapland

Lapland spans northern Finland, Sweden, Norway, and part of Russia.
It is home to endless taiga forests, tundra, mosses, lichens, and crystal-clear lakes.
There are over 188,000 lakes — most of glacial origin.
In winter, temperatures drop to –30 °C and below.

Light and Climate

Polar Day: the sun doesn’t set for up to 73 consecutive days.
Polar Night: up to 50 days without sunlight.
The Northern Lights can be seen up to 200 nights a year.
In summer, you can even read a book at night without extra light.

Animals of Lapland

Home to both fierce predators and northern symbols:

Reindeer — a central figure in the region’s culture and transport
Arctic hare — gray in summer and white in winter, perfect for camouflage
Arctic fox — fluffy, resilient, living even at –40 °C
Wolf, lynx, brown bear, wolverine — elusive but important tundra predators
Whooper swan — Finland’s national bird, nesting on northern lakes.

Safety First – For You and Our Animals

For the safety and comfort of both guests and animals, the route of the husky tour may be adjusted depending on weather, snow, and trail conditions. Our experienced team will always choose the best and safest path to ensure an enjoyable ride through Lapland's stunning winter landscape.

We are deeply committed to the health and happiness of our animals. All our huskies and reindeer are cared for with love and respect every day. We follow a strict no-kill policy, provide proper rest, and never overwork our animals. Their well-being is always a top priority — just as much as creating magical memories for you.
